Last Couple of Days Have sucked

Right before work yesterday, my mom sent me a text. I thought she herself was having a sad day so I called her. But she was sad about her friend having a hard time. She was in front of her friend so she couldn't tell me anything. She calls back about 10 minutes later and snaps at me for being curious and trying to make sure she's okay. She told me not to get 'pouty' or whatever. Which pissed me off to no end. Who the hell is she to get like that with me? Especially right before work? (I work in a grocery store. So I deal with enough bullshit as it is with customers screaming at me for shit I have no control over- such as pricing and what not.

So things have been going pretty well with my boyfriend and I. He left Wednesday to go down to Purdue for a few days. (After the previous weekend making it sound like 3 days away from one another would be sad). Yesterday when we were texting, everything was okay. But today I got a little snippy/sarcastic. When I said I would be doing homework soon, he said it sounded exhilerating. I told him to shut it jerk, and he went on to say there was no reason to be mean. When I said shut it jerk, it was purely playful. But I guess i didn't portray it well.
